Product Overview
The EK1541 EtherCAT Coupler connects the EtherCAT protocol at the fieldbus level to the EtherCAT Terminals using a polymer optical fiber (POF) connection. It converts telegrams from Ethernet 100BASE-TX POF hardware to E-bus signals. A station consists of a coupler and any number of EtherCAT Terminals, which are automatically detected and displayed in the process image.
